The FTAO will be your 'shadow' and guide and assist you through everyday and follow-up files. An FTAO has undertaken a specific training course and is aware of the study requirements of Probationary Troopers.

Your ongoing training will be monitored by a local Education Development Officer (EDO) who assists you with all aspects of work and study, particularly your adjustment to Terra Isles  Roleplay. You can expect to be exposed to a wide range of files and situations in your first month.

    Duties and Incidents

Some things you will be involved with include:

    • Serious Assaults

    • Domestic Issues

    • Armed Robberies

    • Deceased Persons

    • Theft/Stealing Offences

Being a member of a Police Area Command (PAC) or a Police District (PD) you will be a part of a team comprising many different roles, ranks and positions. A Police Area Command is under the control of a Police Area Commander, who holds the rank of a Superintendent. The PAC is supported by Duty Officers (Inspectors) who manage issues within the Police Area Command and Team Leaders (Sergeants) who form mobile supervisory patrols.General_Duties_Roadclosure

In addition, there are support roles that assist Troopers assigned to General Duties around the Police Area Command. These include but aren't limited to: the Traffic & Highway Patrol Command, Bicycle Squad, Area Detectives and the Tactical Operations Unit. Before pursuing specialist assignments Probationary Troopers are required to complete the Field Training and Assessment Program (FTAP).
