Upon completing the Community Membership Application (CMA) all prospective applicants are reminded we're looking for detailed and thorough responses. Applicants who provide unmotivated responses will be automatically denied and deferred for 24 hours.

Q: Why are we called the Department of Public Justice Roleplay (DoPJ)
A: The reason we have chosen to go with the Department of Public Justice Roleplay Community (DoPJ) is that we strongly believe that every single individual no matter past circumstances deserve the right to Safety & Justice. The DoPJ also recognizes that those who serve are not supposed to have an opinion and are to protect and serve the community.
Q: How do I join and become a Member?
A: Joining the Department of Public Justice has three phases of joining, this is as follows;
1) Application Phase - Potential Applicants will make an expression of interest via our website where Application Staff will Approve or Deny the Application.
2) Interview Phase - Upon Approval of the Application Phase, the Applicant will complete an oral Interview with our Interviewing Staff.
3) Initial Employment Training Phase - Recruits will attend an Initial Employment Training Classroom session and Practical In-Game session (except Operational Communications Centre) lead by our Instructing Staff.
Q: My Application got accepted, am I a member now?
A: Applicants whose applications are accepted are not yet members of the community. Applicants only officially become a member of the community once the appropriate training has been completed. This is represented by the obtainment of a member tag on the private DoPJ Teamspeak. Applicants who are accepted after the interview phase are known as Recruits / Trainees. These people have not yet undergone any training.
Q: I am thirteen, is there a way to make an exception?
A: Short answer is no.
Q: I am in another community, Can I still join the DoPJ?
A: The Department of Public Justice does not allow dual clanning.
Q: I have no Roleplay (RP). Can I still apply?
A: Of course! We welcome everyone no matter experience along as they meet the Dept. of Public Justice Recruitment Requirements. Roleplayers experienced or not, have to start somewhere in the wider modding community.
Q: Can I be apart of more than one Department?
A: The Dept. of Public Justice only allows one (1) main department and three (3) reserve departments. To start the recruitment process, we ask that you only select one (1) department. The reserve Departments are a privilege which is rewarded to Members who work hard and uphold the DoPJ Core Values.
Q: Do I have to have a Microphone?
A: Yes, you do. This is one of the main requirements to become a Member of the Dept. of Public Justice Roleplay Community is to have a working microphone.
Q: I don't have a Computer. but I do have a PlayStation/Xbox, can I join the DoPJ still?
A: The Dept. of Public Justice only operates on Computer. DoPJRP doesn't have nor operates with consoles, with that said you have a Computer in order to join the Dept. of Public Justice. If you have a PC that can not run Grand Theft Auto V, we welcome you to join the Operational Communications Centre.
Q: What type of Server are we. (Trainers/Life Server)?
A: The Department of Public Justice uses the Life-Roleplay framework however this included with a free range trainer along with a moderated trainer to ensure that Route Drawing isn't possible. However the Life-Roleplay is more a prop such as (Narcotics, Buying products, In-Game money, etc) while most Members use trainers.
Q: Will you buy me Grand Theft Auto?
A: No the Department of Public Justice is a non-profit community and we do not require any donations to fund us from our Members, Non Commissioned Officers (Management), Administration or even the public to Roleplay/Join us. We have not and we will not buy anything for someone's personal benefit. i.e. Grand Theft Auto V. If you do not own a legal copy of Grand Theft Auto V, do not fret.. you can sign up to our Operational Communications Centre (Dispatch) through the Initial Employment Applications. (Steps are above)
Q: How long does Recruit/Candidate Training Take?
A: Our Initial Employment Training (IET) varies based on the Department, the amount of Trainees present and Technical difficulties arise. On a whole, Initial Employment Training can take up a maximum of hours 6.

Q: What is the Field Training & Assessment Program like?
A: The Field Training and Assessment Program (FTAP) sometimes called the FTO Program. These programs are a formal orientation to the Trainees/Probationary Members selected Department. The Field Training and Assessment Program is overviewed by the Department of Recruitment and Field Training (DoR&FT) ensuring that all Members are considered equal when applying to the Dept. of Public Justice. Field Training and Assessment Program is divided into two (2) and three (3) categories.
Civilian Operations Command (14 Days)
- Phase 1: Probationary Civilians are placed into a phase where they can quick feedback from their Field Training and Assessment Officers. i.e. You make a scenario and at the completion, your FTAO will give you improvement feedback.
- Phase 2: Phase two will be like Phase 1 however you will be given more freedom and be told to less what to do from your Chain of Command.
Operational Communications Centre: (14 Days)
- Phase 1: Operators in Phase 1 of the Field Training and Assesment Program (FTAP) will be participating in the Sit-Along-Program. Operators will be given more details about the Sit-Along-Program once they reach this step in the Integration Process of the Dept. of Public Justice. You will be given small tasks to conduct while in consist of communication with a Dispatch Training and Assessment Officer (DTAO) where you can ask any Questions, Queries and Doubtful Points.
- Phase 2: Operators assigned to Phase 2 are given more responsibility and will lead the patrol as the primary Operator on shift for either Fire Service State-Wide or Policing Operations State-Wide frequency. The DTAO will observe you and give pointers after Calls, Situations, Scenarios and Interactions with Civilians, Peace Officers, Firefighters, or Paramedics.

Law Enforcement Agencies: (30 Days)
- Phase 1: Probationary Troopers will be assigned a Field Training and Assessment Officer (FTAO) at the start of Parade from the Frontline Operations Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge. The FTAO will teach you about San Andreas and the hot-spots we focus on for any specific reason, this FTAO will also help redefine the skills you learned at the Law Enforcement Educations and Training Centre - San Andreas. You will be riding shot-gun learning skills, taking notes, and learning Frontline Policing in the DoPJ.
- Phase 2: During Phase two the Probationary Trooper will slowly start to feel the shadow phase begin where his/hers FTAO will not be always riding with them (The FTAO can now ride shotgun or drive) this is where Probies will experience more paperwork, in-depth roleplay experience and basic enjoyment in realism. The FTAO will not be as helpful by just telling you to answer you will have to know them/research them.
- Phase 3: Probationary Troopers are on a complete shadow mode now with Field Training & Assessment Officers and Watch Supervisors shadowing the Probie while on Calls for Service.
The Field Training and Assessment Program also participate in a thing called Daily Observation Reports (D.O.R.) this is an important factor for the Watch Non-Commissioned Officers to be able to track the knowledge and behaviour of new Members to the Dept. of Public Justice Roleplay Community. Our D.O.R.s are on a sliding scale between the number 1 and 5. This assists the Frontline Operations Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge to review with the FTAOs on the performance of the Probationary Trooper.
